Summer Songs!

It's summertime! It's time to kick back, relax and listen to music all day! (Especially at the beach!)

Last year, Calvin Harris had us bouncing, The Wanted made everyone Glad they Came and DJ Fresh made sure it was gonna get Louder!
Other prominent hits were: Lady Gaga - Edge Of Glory, Nicki Minaj - Superbass, Katy Perry - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), Ed Sheeran - A Team and Changed The Way You Kissed Me - Example.

Let's see what's in store for us this year! 


Some popular summer songs are: 
Avicii - Silhouettes This song has the perfect beat for a night out! Avicii's 'Levels' was just fab in our opinion, why not give this a listen? The vocals are chilling and interesting. House music is incredible for summer!


Where Have You Been - Rihanna What a tune! This has to be one of our fave Rihanna singles. It's a great dance-pop song. Watch the music video too,  it will have you dancing in no time! 


Tiesto - Maximal Crazy Let's include some more House music! This Dutch DJ knows how to get a whole crowd up on their feet if you watch the video!


The Wanted - Chasing The Sun Last year The Wanted impressed us with Glad You Came... Although this does sound quite similar to a few of their songs, it's still considered a summer song!


Katy Perry - Wide Awake This song is fairly new. It's another Katy Perry song out of her album 'Teenage Dream'. The video's better than the song in our opinion. Maybe it can be your motivational song of the summer.


Calvin Harris - Let's Go (feat. Ne-Yo) An upbeat tune, most notably featured in a pepsi commercial. Not very different than any other song out there, but still, a cheerful song is brilliant for parties.


Connor Maynard - Vegas Girl This Brighton lad isn't a newcomer like most people think. He became famous the same way Justin Bieber did...through YouTube! His debut single 'Can't Say No' was quite a success as it was known for it's bass and it's bouncy chorus. If you liked 'Can't Say No', 'Vegas Girl' is worth a listen.

Rita Ora feat. Tinie Tempah - R.I.P We've always been a fan of Tinie Tempah as he never disappoints us. Love the 'disturbing London' guy! On the other hand, we've known Rita Ora since the start of this year since she was featured in the hit, Hot Right Now by DJ Fresh. She provides great vocals. But honestly, we always preferred Nneka - Heartbeat better than this. However, we are listing Summer songs, so there you go! 


Tulisa - Young In our opinion, 'Young' screams SUMMER in our tanned faces! It's got such a great beat. And although many may dislike Tulisa herself, just don't let her private life and N-Dubz's disbandment make you hate on the single.
